The Wonderful Conclusion of Greg's Journey!
One week ago today, Greg Wells completed his mission to ride his bike over 700 miles from DC to RBC Headquarters in Montreal in support of Open Door Sports.
This amazing journey included:
- 740 miles biked
- 33,600 feet climbed
- Downpours
- Swarms of bees
- Daily ice baths
- And more than a few mechanical challenges
He battled through all of these challenges so kids with special needs, like his daughter Emory, have a chance to be on a team, meet new friends and have pride in their abilities.
He fought through the fatigue so teens like his daughter Marlie could be a part of the solution - developing understanding, respecting difference and finding out that we are all more alike then we are different.
We are in awe of Greg's perseverance and strength, and incredibly honored that ODS is the beneficiary of his incredible efforts.
