Our Annual Celebration of ODS! The 2026 Play it Forward Party

The theme of this year's annual celebration of ODS is "Play It Forward" which highlights our steadfast determination to keep playing it forward for years to come as well as the party's status as our signature fundraiser to support our mission. This year's party will be held on the evening of Saturday, June 6th at Babycat Brewery in Kensington, MD in their new event space on the property and we hope you will join us for a night celebrating inclusion, friendship and fun.

The event will be catered by our friends at Corcoran Caterers, with craft beer and wine from Babycat Brewery and live music from The Timmie Metz Trio. We will honor our 2026 ODS Changemaker Awardees (Max Alexander, Elizabeth Madden, and Eli Solovy) and all proceeds from the evening will go straight towards the inclusive and adapted sports programs we provide for free all year.

RAFFLES

STUFFED YETI RAFFLE: The ODS Stuffed YETI Raffle is back this year with ODS offering a white YETI Roadie 32 Wheeler cooler stuffed with fixings for a summer of adult refreshments. Tickets are 10 for $10; 30 for $25, 75 for $50 and 200 for $100.

The ODS 50/50 RAFFLE: The ODS 50/50 is more than just a chance to win—it’s a chance to make an impact and have some fun along the way. One lucky winner will take home half the pot, and yes, we mean really take it home—no strings attached, no awkward “you can donate it back if you want” moment.

Every ticket supports inclusive sports opportunities for athletes of all abilities, so whether you win or not, you’re part of something meaningful. Come for the celebration, stay for the cause, and maybe leave with a little extra in your pocket.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Sponsorships are the key to our fundraising success at events like this and doesn't just put a logo on a banner; it directly funds the coaches, equipment, and facility rentals that keep our programs free for the families who need them most.

ODS is a small but mighty nonprofit and has no large corporate funders or institutional support to help make ends meet.

For the 2026 ODS Play it Forward Party, sponsorship tiers are designed to directly support free sports programming for nearly 900 individuals with special needs.

The following levels—Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and our Player Family Sponsor range from $5,000 to $250 and offer various ways to showcase your commitment to community inclusion.

Our Honor Wall Sponsorship gives families an opportunity to honor their player, peer buddy, assistant coach or head coach, highlighting the quality that stands out as part of their participation in the ODS community. Submissions need to be in by May 20th in time to order for the party.
